Physiofest 2025: Memorial Service
Friday’s program took on a more solemn and reflective tone as the PhysioFest community gathered to honor the memory of our beloved lecturer, Miss Bridgette Opoku. The initial plans for Jersey and Sports Day were respectfully set aside, as students, staff, and colleagues came together to celebrate her life and legacy.
The service was held at the SBAHS Examination Hall, where the atmosphere was filled with reverence, gratitude, and deep reflection. Students and faculty alike paid their respects through heartfelt tributes, prayers, and moments of silence.
Miss Bridgette was more than a lecturer; she was a mentor, guide, and inspiration to many. Her passion for physiotherapy, dedication to her students, and unwavering commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on everyone she taught. Her memory lives on in the lessons she imparted, the values she stood for, and the impact she made within the physiotherapy community.
Though the planned Jersey and Sports Day could not take place, the memorial service reminded us of the fact that PhysioFest is not only about celebration and fun, but also about unity, compassion, and honoring those who have shaped our journey.
